Coastal New England was battered Tuesday by a blizzard of blinding snow, ferocious waves and winds that topped hurricane speed, and city streets in Boston were empty of all but snowplows.
Safety first. Careful decisions. You cannot underestimate this storm. This storm will not come in a measured manner. Hard and fast. If you need to stay in California instead of trying to get home that would be prudent.
In New York City, officials warned that the storm could be one of the most powerful blizzards ever recorded.
How do you get home?
Airlines have canceled 3,700 flights ahead of the east coast storm which many are calling “catastrophic” and “potentially historic”. What makes things more difficult is that there were reports of bombs on target airplanes in Atlanta Airport. I have no idea what the backlog is but the fact is that travel will be like molasses for a while, especially for an event like 2015 NADA and those traveling to the east coast.
